Baghouse filters

Envirotherm-designed baghouse filters are mainly used for dedusting purposes but also for the adsorption or absorption of gaseous pollutants (such as SO₂, HCl, HF as well as heavy metals and polychlorinated hydrocarbons).

When dust-laden gases pass a porous fabric or felt layer, dust gets removed from the carrier gas and, subsequently, forms a filter cake at the filtering layer. This kind of dust is removed after certain intervals, falls into the dust bunker and can be discharged.
